R for refreshment

The first hot spell of the season fell upon us in Moab, after a prolonged coolish spring. With temps climbing well into the 90s and strong sun beating down, locals know that getting comfortable requires water, immersion, and evaporative cooling. Fortunately, a creek exists nearby with some long stretches of relative remoteness if one hikes far enough in. My girlfriend and I splashed our way far upstream, telling stories of our childhoods on different continents, until we came to a natural waterslide with a good volume of gushing fresh water.  I felt like an otter for the next 25 minutes as we played in, on, and under the torrent. Album? Nah. Imprudent.

She was not a particular student.
    But show her a torrent
    She will not be abhorrent.
In fact she may be quite imprudent.
